Flying in to Grenoble in January with Ryanair. The flight lands at 2030. The only car rental company that are open on a Saturday in the airport are Avis. They open until 2200.

Do you think it would be a risk to rent a car with them. Will we make it do you think? Is that flight regularly delayed, does anyone know?

No idea about the flight being delayed but you should get there in time. The airport ins't that big.

Of course as soon as you reserve a car with Avis, pre-pay and give them your flight details then they'll keep the office open for you until you turn up.

I've booked a car in Salzburg airport when my flight didn't get in until 10pm. We knew this was the case so we notified them in advance and we paid an after hours fee and someone will came to get us and brought a car. I think it was about €20 extra and was with budget. Most companies, if you give your flight number and time to them they'll make sure someone will be there to get you a car. Just talk to someone in the Avis office and check.
