Have been thinking of running two PC's for a while now for a number of reasons. Looked around for cases that would hold two full set ups. Mountain Mods have some great cases for this sort of thing, but the shipping on them is a bit too much for me. So I came across the Thermaltake Mozart TX (http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=326310) and thought it might be a good option. It will support a ATX and a miniITX board which is fine by me. Just wondering if you think this is a good case to run two computers from.

    Cheers

The depth in the case from front to back is a tad short and proved awkward to work within when building mine. Also the side panels hinge out at 90 degrees max, further interfering. I also found that the power supply position meant that a standard cable wouldn't reach the main power connector on my board (though admittedly my board would go and place the connector in it's very centre), so an extension cable was needed. Then again you're only going to build the machine once so these aren't long term issues.

I take it that are not running two systems within it it then?

But overall its a nice case besides the few build issues?

P.S Did you order it from Komplett? What was shipping like?

No, just one system. I ordered from Overclockers rather than Komplett. There are plenty of good touches, plenty of fan mounts, all with removable dust filters etc.

Don't remember exactly to be honest, it was back at the start of the year, but I don't remember any problems with shipping it.

Im now rethinking this. If I run two ststems in this, one can be ATX but the other has to be miniITX which isn't great. I would love to pick up a mountainmods U2-UFO Duality but if I buy it from the states its cheap but shipping and customs would up the price and if I buy it from England, euro-sterling is terrible at the moment! Would love one of these cases! :(

I was looking at the mozart tx a few months ago. Then i seen one at a lan and realised how hideous it actually is. The MM ufo cases are sweet as. But as you said, no matter where you buy it from its gonna end up costing +300€

If you are faily good with your hands, and have alot of spare time then try this:

Get two of these http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=316033 And stick them together. You will have to loose a few panels, but who cares. You would obviosly have to get the acrylic coloured too.

I have thought about that a few times with different cases, but for I start I hate the look of those clear cases and knowing my D.I.Y skills I'd make a mess of it and basically it wouldn't look as nice.

The MM case is £279.65 which is about €400. Why can't Britain just join the euro!

it wouldnt make a differance it would still be €400

heh, there is one option for you. Do you have family in america? or canada? If so have it delivered to them, and get them to ship it to you here. No import tax then.
