right so, heres the deal, tecnicaly i have two jobs, one with my da, for the car insurance with his company, and the other, my actual job with a national comp games store. i started this games job about 2 months ago, and ive been "working" with my dad for the last year and a bit. since i started work with this games place, my tax has been very high, like this week i earned 285 before tax, and 117 was taken off that for income tax. is this emergency tax, or is it cos my tax credits are messed up, meaning, are all of my tax credits goging towards my job with my dad. it says and the top of my pay slip that my tax creds for the game shop is 0.00 and that im on tax code 9e, if that helps.

any one got any ideas on what it is. ooh yea. the %tax that it works out that im being charged is just under 42 percent if that helps

    thanks in advace

You need to tell the tax office you have two jobs, otherwise you'll be paying the wrong tax.

And you need to tell the employers as well, so their records are sorted out with respect to it all too.
