We'd really need more info on the processor.

tesco's are known for having some decent laptop's for a good price, but more than often they sell very poor grade and poor quality laptop's.

ive had a few and ive repaired a few.

id be very skeptical of it.

In fairness, you may be thinking of Iqon. I haven't heard of Tesco selling Samsung before. Or have they?

I saw the ad in Friday's Examiner.

    15.4" screen
    Intel Core 2 Duo (1.73GHz)
    2 GB RAM
    120 GB harddrive
    Vista home premium

Anyone know if samsung laptops are any good?

    :)

That indeed is a point. Such is the extensive research I have done to resolve the problem of my currently terminal laptop.

Anyway, it's all the same to me. All I need is something that can connect to wireless broadband. The watchamacallit that I linked to looks up to the job as far as I can see.

All new laptops come with wireless these days.

The 1 gig of RAM in that might get a bit annoying, I'm assuming it's got vista.
