Lens advice (looking for something wide, macro, fast)

I'm going to the US in the next few months and am now doing some research into what lens(es) I'll pick up when there.

Two things I feel I 'need' now are a macro, and something wide. My camera ia a 400d. My macro capabilities right now consist of extension tubes. The widest I have is my Canon 17-85 IS. I'd like to go wider - somewhere between 10 and 15mm. I also want to keep to fast lenses.

So what I'm thinking is, is there a way I can combine all three requirements (wide, macro, and fast) into one lens purchase rather than two ? If so, it might save me a few quid but also free up space in my camera bag.

Can anyone recommend anything that fits the bill here in one lens ? If not, please recommend two. Open to any brand, once it comes recommended. If Canon, all the better as all my gear is Canon to date.

I'll most likely be buying from www.sigma4less.com since I've used them before and will be looking for somewhere that will ship to a hotel/office on the west coast (these guys do this).

    Thanks in advance

*edit * - oh - budget is 800 Eurish, which is about 1,00 USD now

I doubt any such thing exists. For a wide angle lens to be able to do 1:1 macro you'd have to have about a 1cm closest focus distance. And wide lenses aren't usually any faster than f4 because they don't really need to be.

On that budget, you'd be best off getting the Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6 and Sigma 105 F2.8. You'd comfortably be able to get both of those

    Isn't there a Sigma 8mm f/2.8?

yes there is. might be too wide for me. like the idea of the 10-20 I have to admit.
