    Hi guys, does anyone know when Office 2008 is to be released for Mac.
    The crap Mac Office site has feck all information on a release date.

    I'm guessing 2008. :D

    According to this Appleinsider article it was due before end of 2007 but is now planned for Jan 2008.

    No, Access isn't a part of Office:mac. Do you absolutely need Microsoft Access or just a database app? If it's just a database you want, you could try NeoOffice (free) or Filemaker. Otherwise you could run Office for Windows via Bootcamp, Fusion or Parallels.
