Has anyone ever successfully treated an incontinent bitch with oestrogen replacement tablets. We recently got a little 4 year old spayed bitch from a shelter and she has a little urinary incontinence problem. Apparently this is quite common after spaying. The vet has now put her on oestrogen supplements to hopefully cure this so I was curious on the success rate of this

My friend's King Charles Spaniel had this problem after being spayed and takes her tablet every day now. It has sorted out out the problem successfully. They have missed her tablet for a couple of days on occasion though, and the problem returns then so they have to be organised about it.
