Playing Dublin on the 14th November and Belfast on the 15th. No venues confirmed yet. I'm guessing U:Mack are promoting down here so hopefully there'll be some news soon. They were ****ing incredible the last time in Crawdaddy so I'm really looking forward to this!

    ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE

The mighty Japanese pyscedelic rockers Acid Mothers Temple, led by guitar wild man Makoto Kawabata are coming back!! their gig in Crawdaddy last year was their best Dublin show yet.

"The concept, in two words is "trip music". I have listened to all sorts of trippy psychedelic records, but I was never fully satisfied with them. So I began to want to create a really extreme trip music. It was also a great chance for me to try out all sorts of things in the studio, and so that first album is basically a solo record. I edited and overdubbed all these tapes of jam sessions we'd done, and ended up with something that is like musique concrete. " - Kawabata Makoto

Great gig although I think I've damaged my hearing. Forgot to bring earplugs and the guitar was unbelievably loud! Cosmic sounding though!
