I don't know how much it is back home, but here in the UK it's a ridiculously cheap £1.99

Downloading it now, from what I hear it's pretty stripped down compared to the PSP version but as long as it has the music then I'm happy for that price.

As a side note though, Sony seem to have gone all Xbox Live on us and forced me to add £5 to my wallet instead of just the exact price of the game which is annoying - that used to be one of my favourite things about PSN.

Other updates this week (if you go to the American store) include demos of Sega Rally, Stuntman and Skate.

Why are there no replies to this? Every single PS3 owner should have bought this game.

I love it so far. Well, not as much as the PSP version, but it's a great game. My only complaint is that there's too many sound effects and voices going on at once, which clutters up the wonderful music at times. Other than that it's still got the spirit of the PSP game, even with a completely different way of interacting with the world it follows most of the same principals - get the Loco Rocos to the end of the level by gently guiding them past traps, while carefully searching for secret areas and trying to find all of the Loco Rocos available. Gonna take a while to get them all.

Is it the same as the PSP game or is it completely new levels? I'll buy it if it's new levels.

The fact that there's no replies shows again that most people have no taste. I've no replies to my Jeanne D'Arc thread despite the fact that for me it is far and away the best reason to own a PSP.

It's completely different to the PSP version - instead of tilting the level you control a butterfly (cursor) which the loco rocos try to follow, you can use that to herd them around, encourage them to jump, and interact with parts of the environment to open gates and things.

As I said, I do prefer the PSP version but this one manages to be fresh and still captures the spirit of the game because your goals are the same and the Loco Rocos and level are as full of life as ever before. At £1.99 you can't go wrong.

It's only one level by the way, but it's huge and parts of it unlock when you complete it so there's plenty of incentive to go back with 200 Loco Roco to try and rescue.

Must get Jeanne d'Arc now you mention it, as soon as I complete Phoenix Wright.

I got it yesterday, but I haven't had much of chance to play it. It seems fun though I have to ask, do you always start back at the same spot? I don't really want to go through the same areas picking up dudes before getting to the newly unlocked area.

You do, though I never really considered that as a downside because I like playing though it but you do have a point.

    Its times like these that I wish i had a Ps3 :(

I remember my friend got Loco Roco for Christmas, and next time I was over in his house we played it, I've never found a game as enjoyable right from the beginning.

    Gotta love the Music aswell:D

Don't worry - the PSP is definitely the superior version. The PS3 version compliments it nicely though :)

I still reckon they found some way of processing children's laughter and that was how Loco Roco was created.

Loving this game. Not as good as the PSP game but nice all the same. I hope they do a loco roco that uses the six axis for tilting since it actually works in this game. Don't like the shaking though, my brothers girlfriend had a good laugh at me while I was trying to play it.

Yea I agree with that - also had trouble with it not registering my shaking sometimes in the minigame which was annoying. Really hope this is a taster for a future game though.

Someone suggested they release Loco Roco on PSN with a map editor for people to share their creations Little Big Planet style - I think that would be a brilliant idea.
