Netopia Eircom Router WEP key Vulnerability

    i read today an article about a security risk with netopia eircom routers, and the ability to derive the WEP key from the default SSID.
    you can read some here

    i was just wondering, has anyone here got any information on this?

    yeah, the generator is on the cd eircom send ya :rolleyes: if ya type in the serial number or the router, it finds it for ya.
