Talented & Commited Lead & Bass Guitarists Wanted

Hey,

This is not an idle post.

We are looking for a great guitar and bass player who are interested in writing music to come and play with us. We are a drummer and vocalist who have both written material to some acclaim. We have both done the band thing that never really goes anywhere, and we are no longer interested in that. We are both in early to mid twenties.

To try and describe what kind of music we want to write is difficult. What we want to write is an album that grabs you from start to finish. We want to write and play the type of songs that grab you in the chest from the start and for the last thirty seconds you have your finger on the repeat button. They type of album you get excited about telling your friends about because you know its going to be massive. We want to write meaningful, commercial, succesful rock music. No screaming or thundering illegible power chords. Please get in touch with us to talk about influences and comparable music because I dont feel I can explain it in a post.

Please, please dont get me wrong here. We do not want to start something experimental where we regret ever having me eachother and wasting so much time. What we want is to set ourselves a goal, to be whereever we want to be within a year let say.

We both eat, sleep and drink music. We are looking for like minded people who know their instrument well. We both love writing music, the creative side of it, but we want your input as a band member. We are looking for a guitar player who knows how to play with a band but also how to jam along and write something that compliments the other instruments. I could get into something incredibly waffley about the guitar greats but basically we are looking for someone who knows how to use the power of a good guitar riff and the secret of timing.

Bass - One of the most crucial parts of a good song. So many ground breaking & major commercially succesful songs are made by the bass. The bass and drums are the foundations of a song, what we are looking for is someone who feels the same and knows how to command his (or her) guitar to control a song.

To finish my waffle; We want to get together with like minded people to achieve one feeling. The feeling you get when a song you are writing comes together, where you cant wait to play it again and everytime a certain note or chord change occurs you shiver with excitement.
