I would check and give him a chance to bluff it with his possible missed draw - or value bet a weaker A.
If I were villian I would be slow to call with AJ or A9, which is what you're hoping he has.
Is this line not turning your hand into a bluff? Or maybe its standard i dont know

Dont think he's calling here with a weak ace.....maybe 1/2 the pot for value, or standard if you want it to look like a bluff...I like the check.

I prefer a check. The problem is if he has jt, jacks etc then he is unlikely to call and if you check they will likely check behind but checking allows him to bluff missed heart draw and maybe bet there AJ, A9 etc

    I think it's fine.

i dont like a check here. you have to feel you have the best hand so you cant let the chance to extract some chips from him pass you by. when i feel i have the best hand i dont like to check the river unless he is a habitual bluffer. all in is bad though, cant really see him calling. i would bet around half the pot.

Have you aggression stats on him?

    Particulary on the river?
