Man do I feel dumb

Got my PS3 on Saturday, and just last night, I realised the controller was wireless. I had it plugged in via the rather short usb cable, and was sitting about 3 feet from my tv, all the while cursing the idiots at Sony who came up with such a short lead! I don't think I deserve my PS3, anybody want to buy it off me for a brick or some cheese or something?

Yeah, I'm still pretty embarrased about it. I even spent a half hour online looking for usb connector extension leads and could not understand why there weren't any for sale!

Hey, tman, I also woke up with a golden pube on my pillow this morning, which is weird cos everybody in my house has dark hair.

I did the same thing, I had pulled up the big armchair to within about 4 feet of the tv and I was thinking what a stupidly short cable they gave me. Was just about to go back up to the shop to buy a wireless controller of some sort until I realised the controller worked when i plugged it out!

Joking aside a longer cable would have been nice, for when the battery runs out and you want to keep gaming. Although it does charge up quickly.

Obviously its not a situation for everyone, but I just plug my controller into my laptop next to me when that happens - it charges from the laptop and plays on the PS3
