    Anyway!
Im plagued by the most disgusting problem, EVER in my history of rc:mad:
The carb won't open fully, it stops about 1/4 from open. I took the carb out and it slides fully no bother. I fiddle around with the linkages and i get it right and it opens but then when i drive it, it dosen't decide to open up fully after all my work.
It sounds like a handicap would solve it the problem but christ almighty its the worst ever:eek: i don't even think coolwings is going to solve this one:(
    Cheers anyway.

Heres a pic off another site to show you what Im on about.

    What engine is that?
    T-Maxx 2.5?

    If so
Try the carb off your old 3.3 and see how it goes.

In the pic its the 2.5R and the one in my revo is the OS18. i did a few searchs and seems to be a common problem.
Someone said move out the bellcrank to the outer most hole on the engine mount so I'll give that a go.
    i miss second gear:(

Have you got that card sitting at a slight angle?
I know you have to do this to get them to open up fully.

Yeah its sitting at an angle and no luck. I tried to get it right 3 times and i just had to put it away before i got the chainsaw to it:D

Does the servo open it fully when the car is stationary, and engine off?
But not open it when the car is stationary, and engine is running?

?? Wheres the spray bar or...actually the LSN NEEDLE
The actual Needle? it should be visible in the pic appearing from the right hand side and when you close the throttle it goes into the little hole down there on the left hand side??
or does that engine not have one.? It should as you have an LSN screw?

You can check if it is a problem with the transmitter stick connections /crystal / damaged channel in the receiver by swopping the servo plugs into the receiver and observing if the problem moves onto the steering.
If the problem stays on the throttle & carb, then you have a sticky carb barrell. Happens in some engines.

The reason I specificaly asked if it happens while engine running vs engine not running is checking for effects of temp on carb barrell fit, and/or possible vibration on the servo itself.

Thats the reason I told him to try the carb off the 3.3 engine he has lying around ;)

I put the bellcrank on the other most hole and fiddled around with the linkages, job done! Thansk anyway lads.
    Works 100%:)
Jesus i forgot about the 3.3, i might just send it off to traxxas uk with the letter vectra sent me with it and explain the new problem. Hopefully they'll send me a new engine back over then.

    Hmm.
You left that a bit long.. Wonder if they will do anything with it now seeing as it is 15 months or more now since I got it done?

Hmm is right, probly did leave it run. but ahh feck it.
I'll just box it and send it over, i wont bother ringing them either.
    See what happens.
