Pushing a draw when shortstacked? (Low Content)

    70 odd left out of 200 starting field in 22$ tournament, average stack 8.5k, shortstacked after getting JJ in vs QQ, so on 4.4k

    Im in the BB with As6s. Blinds are 200/400, raising to 300/600 by next orbit.

    Play folds to the button, Large stack, slightly loose agressive but decent minraises, SB loose and not great calls, I call.

    Flop comes 5s5cKs (1200 pot)

    SB checks, I check hoping to see a cheap turn, button bets 1600, SB folds, I shove for 3600.

    I cant call here as it'll leave me crippled and comitted either way. Is shoving here standard or really bad? Cheers.

    get it in there...... chance of a lifeline for you..

    It all depends what he has whether you hit or not. If he has AA or trips your 95% fav to hit..... :rolleyes:

    pot size is wrong, button min raises 200/400 so its now 800*3=2400

    whatever for the preflop ( button is probably trying to inflate pot, and take it down when checked to him - you should prob decide to play the and or not - ie fold or all in.

    open push on the flop, maybe he'l fold a better hand than you, and if he calls youve outs , hopefully an ace and your flush. as played there is no fold equity - it lookd like your trapping him with a draw!!??
    open push and take down the middle (2400)
