Drum Kit Help!

    Hello,

I desperately need some help buying some new drum shells.

I have about 2200euro to spend on some new shells and a snare.

I play in a heavy death metal band ( influences Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Death etc...) so two bass drums would be nice.
But I also play rock ( Faith no more, Alice in Chains etc...) and some old progressive stuff (Rush, Camel, King Crimson Etc..) and a whole other bunch of stuff.

I'd like an aluminum snare for that real poppy/harsh sound. I don't care on the material used on the shells as long as its versatile for different sounds.
Two toms and a floor tom is a necessity

I've been thinking along the lines of pearl masters but I'm not sure how much I cab afford it. I've heard some Sonors and liked the sound but no one I know has owned one.

Any ideas or any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

For your snare skin I'd recommend a Remo Ambassador skin. Decent skin, good sound and plus it feels nice :)

I wouldn't call myself a drum expert or anything but it's definitely a good skin. About twelve euro in Musicmaker.

as for your toms etc I wouldn't have a clue.
