Anyone read the superb new Hellboy spin-off Lobster Johnson : The Iron Prometheus? I haven't read such a thrilling comic in yonks, and Jason Armstrong's glorious pulp-noir Guy Davis-esque art is far better than I had hoped for. And there's even a preview for the 2nd ish on Dark Horse's site.

I read it and loved it! Does exactly what you'd expect it to and totally captures the mood and spirit of the sources it's referencing. There's some great indy comics out there if you can dig them out.

Worth the money for the sewer cannibals line.
