Camcorder Specs

    Hi All,

    Just wondering if someone can recommend camcorder specs/a good camcorder to buy....

    i'm in a bit of a rush - so internet is ruled out and i dont have a clue what i should be looking for :(

    I know a bit about digital cameras and the like and was surprised to see that camcorders have a much lower pixel count, does this matter - or as i have been led to believe is it really all in the lens?

    I have also been told that miniDV is probably the best way to go as DVD camcorders are often more trouble than they are worth.

    All information is g8rly appreciated... so please help me out!!
