:o Is anyone on NTL phone service? I use NTL broadband at the moment and I have no problems with it so I was considering taking up their phone offer where they have €4 a month line rental. Just wonering is anyone else using it and how they are finding the service?
    Thanks.

I would highly recommend using a different provider for your phone. Personally I use Blueface but any whould work.

The main reason is that if you ever leave NTL broadband, you don't have to go through the hassle of porting your NTL phone number to your new provider. You're Blueface account [or whatever company] will just work with your new broadband provider.

    I aggree with IrishTLR,

I have been using Blueface for over a year now with NTL and find there service excellent.

Also, my brother signed up to them and had to move to New Zealand for a year so he just brought over his wireless router and we can still ring him on his Dublin number! :D

I've been using the NTL phone service for 4 months and had no problems. Note that its €4 a month only if you use three services from NTL - broadband, TV and phone. Otherwise its €10.
