    Hi,

I am planning on starting to sell Trion:z golf bracelets and I just wanted to do some market research to see how many people know about them already, if anyone has any and if anyone plans on investing in them in the future.

I would like all feedback both negative and positive as I do no want to sell low quality goods.

www.trionz.co.uk will provide more information for anyone interested. They are basically another type of ion balancing device like the q-link..

I am slightly sceptical about if these work which is another reason that I would like feedback..

If this thread is out of line mods can feel free to delete it but at the end of the day its basically a discussion of golf equipment and I'm not trying to sell anything here

This sounds very similar to the idea of the new cantabury rugby jerseys. I heard a rep from cantabury on newstalk last week talking about how the jerseys are implanted with negative ions. Supposedly they have tested and proven that they can improve performance!

Interesting, as its the second time I've heard the idea in a week :)

edit: just looked at their page, they're already on sale in most of the golf shops here, funny cos I've never seen them!

Yeah the page claims that they are in many golf shops but I've called golfworks and they had never heard of them even though they are listed. I didn't realise other sports were using negative ions to. That could be handy because I could sell to the rugby crowd too.

    Does anyone have personal experience?

I would be selling online and so they would be a bit cheaper than that. Do you wear it all the time or just during golf, supposedly you should wear every day and if its just for golf you should put it on a couple of hours before the round

I havent taken it off since i bought it. I will admit you do feel something a few hours after putting it on for the first time. A mate also bought one and said the same thing. It feels like its worn off now, maybe it works or maybe it doesnt and its just all in the head. Who knows? I havent taken it off though:D

    careful now, ian.f

I'm letting this go for now, if I see any links to your own site or hints you are actually selling you are looking at deleted threads and a ban from this forum.

I wouldn't dream of it. Am only considering for now. I want to know if these things are any good and i figure golfers who use them would be the best people to tell me

There is a lot of hype around the effects of negative ions. As with much alternative therapy & medicine, there is little or no clinical research to back up the claims of positive health benefits.
I bought a small ionizer about 2 years ago & have it turned on all the time in our bedroom. It's about the size of a clock radio with 4 pins at high voltage causing negative ions to shoot into the air. It allegedly attaches ions to dust making them heavier. There are also some claims about ionizers being able to kill MRSA bugs. None of my family has had much in the line of a serious cold or other illness since we got it.
I don't know how your bracelet produces it's ions or whether the amount produced is of any significant benefit.
I recently bought a copper bracelet for 10 euro. It has 2 tiny magnets, one of which doesn't seem to work. Since I bought it, I've played my worst game of golf this year! I still wear it though, sort of a quaint piece of jewelery.
You'll probably get lots of customers for these bracelets. As for their ability to improve your golf...

Hadn't heard of them before this topic! Interesting! What shops would sell them definately? (Would rather not buy online and would rather buy from an actual golf shop)

I thought this kind of stuff died out hundreds of years ago with burning witches, the sun going around the earth etc.
