Anyone had any dodgy charges on their Credit Card recently?

The girlfriend just noticed dodgy charges to her credit card from California. Anyone else experienced anything similar recently? The reason I'm asking that she doesn't use her credit card that often and the only place its saved is on the Vodafone site.

Has she got in touch with her card issuer? If not, do it immediately and cancel the card and have them dispute the charges as potentially fraudulent.

    That goes without saying.

I was curious how someone could use her card to buy petrol in California, how they would have got it. We were in India at the start of the year but would anyone keep the details that long without using them.

    Yes, they would.

There have been many cases where charges have not popped up for months after the card has been cloned.
