    Hi All
Lately my 4 GB USB drive has slowed to a crawl, it's USB 2.0 but when I plug it it in, my laptop presents me with a bubble saying that this device can perform faster, click here for a list of USB 2.0 ports......this never happened before and the transfer speed was really fast. Any ideas what might have happened and how can I fix it

    Cheers HB

Could be a driver issue. Try re-installing the USB2 drivers

Cheers for the reply, but how do I go about re-installin USB 2.0 drivers? I don't have them, anywhere I can download them?
    Cheers again

Are you pluggin in the USB stick into a USB hub?

Also, check the head of it for damage or something that may be blocking it.

No, pluggin it in directly to the USB port of my lappie.
No dirt clogging it or anything.
I went to the device manager and there was a yellow warning triangle beside the USB Root Hub. I repaired that and now its still slow as f**k

    Any Ideas Anyone
