Can we ban people who start 'Bush is a Lizard' type threads?

Seriously, I know we're supposed to be tolerant of people's views here on boards, but there's a ridiculous amount of threads kicking off with very simple individuals at the helm, trying to convince the public that they have concrete evidence of Shape-Shifting-Lizard-People(tm) running the world through some bizarre New World Order. Can we just this once ban anyone who believes this sort of nonsense? Pretty please? With sugar on?
