    Are revenue still seizing items from play.com ?

    or has a deal been reached ?

    is it worth taking the risk ? ... let me know ..

    Nah, that furore has died down since Xmas, I have got a few items from them recently and no problems (delivery can be a bit slow). If the item value is under €22, there is no issue anyway.

    I don't think Customs ever seized items from Play.com. There were some reports of them applying duty and VAT on some orders, but they don't normally stop the delivery to do this. Usually An Post pay for you and then charge you on delivery. The amount of parcels they inspect is also very low. I've never had any of my orders stopped (hundreds at this stage), regardless of the cost.
