Was wondering what kind of paper do people have a preference for when printing their own prints (from digital). Somebody was nice enough to give me a gift of a photo printer recently (ip4300), which was nice. But it would seem that there are a lot of brands of paper out there. The choice is almost overwhelming. Was just curious what peeps recommend?

Start off with the brand stuff that you'll have a profile for - epson, canon etc, then experiment when you are happy with what you get on those. Give gloss, pearl and matt a try just to see what you like. Printing for yourself is an opportunity to tweak everything to suit you so take advantage of it...
