I noticed over the weekend that there are quite a lot of leaves on the ground, but the ones on the trees are still green. Does anyone know if we're due to get a proper autumn colour or will it be like the last few years - a case of green today, gone tomorrow?

Historically speaking we're always due it. As the climate in this part of the world moves towards the tropical end of the scale and away from the moderate the seasons won't follow the same pattern of change as we've been used to for the last thousand(s) years.

Autumn was always my favorite season, but the way things are now is just strange I've seen flowers coming out now that aren't supposed to be out until spring or are coming out a second time.
Half the leaves are down on some trees already while at the same time theres new growth on others.
It makes me mad that some people cant see or choose not to see whats in front of their face.

Temperatures below zero will reduce the green (chlorophyll) and other colours will pop up. So wait for frosty mornings.
