Can't say I see Ruggiebear around much.. Generally it's quiet in here, but I think we could do with an active moderator. I'd vote either walshb or big ears, or cowzer. They contribute alot to the forum.

Although I don't post here often, I read it regularly and can say either of those three with be an excellent choice.

I'll row in behind this - again don't post that often in here but have a genuine interest in boxing.
Any of the lads mentioned would get my vote - even though I don't post a lot I read most of the threads on here

This would probably be better suited for Feedback I imagine! I don't visit here too often but any time I do it's usually dlofnep's posts that stand out, so I'll give you a vote.

i'd be willing to do it if wanted!! the others could also as there can be more than 1 mod..

Thanks for the vote :) But one of the other lads are much more schooled on the sport than I! I'm just a casual fan. I'll create a new thread in feedback so :)

To be a mod, you don't need to be an expert on the particular forum. Just have a cool head and a genuine interest to keep the forum alive. Therefore you, mr penfold backwards, get my vote! :)

i've reccomended dlofnep, cowzerp, bigears and walshb on the feedback forum-i think we need more than 1 mod also as people cant do it all the time due to work etc..ruggiebear is fine but is never on this so must be changed asap.

We should hear something in the next couple of days, i pm'd ruggie and he told me the wheels are in motion, in my opinion we need active mod's who are known by the contributors of the boxing board, then they will be in a better position to create stickies, delete threads and ban abusive users, if you'd like to add to this go to the feedback forum where most of the users dont feel we need an active boxing boards mod, someone waiting for a complaint e mailed to them is fine by them, here is the link-its pretty funny how much there opposing at the idea of a mod that wants to be active on the thread!

Good to see bigears got the mod job, we all are used to him and he knows most of us too.
