Super Supplementals!?

    I heard that even if one fails their supplementals, they get to continue on to the next year, but that they have to sit these "super supplementals" sometime in October... is this true!?

    afaik its a bit of a long shot that your department would let you sit super supps if you sat supps once and failed.

    typically you have to have mitigating circumstances such as a medical issue,etc.

    Yeah, Pugwash is right. You need special circumstances to sit them. However, if you were unable to sit the first set of exams (due to extenuating circumstances) and then failed the supplementals, you could appeal to take the super supps in October (since the super supps would be the 'repeats')

    If you think you failed, contact your tutor ASAP. Seriously, there is limited time to appeal so if they have the heads up now they'll have time to prepare for it. If you want more information for the super supps, contact your tutor or Bartley at education@tcdsu.org or 01 6468439.

    *phew* well I do have mitigating circumstances, I didn't sit the summer exam, so the super supps would be the repeats. anyway, the exam ain't till Thursday so I suppose I really should be studying...
