Terry O'Quinn Wins Emmy

Terry O'Quinn (Locke) won an Emmy last night for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama (beating William Shatner, Michael Imperioli, TR Knight, Masi Oka and Michael Emerson).

Nice to see Emerson nominated - I really think he should have won it.
Locke was more interesting in Season 1.

Congrats to Terry.. Locke is probably my favourite character, though i agree he was much more interesting in previous seasons. His characters intentions have been far too muddled as of late to really enjoy.

But Emerson kicked arse this season.. shame!

PS - also excellent to see Ricky Gervais and Jeremy Piven win. While not a fan of Entourage, Jeremy Piven is one of the most under-rated actors working today.

The emmys were really bad this year! Of course from the nominations you could tell they were going to be (nothing again for the wire during probably its strongest season).

But about time Terry O'Quinn won,he deserved it in season 1 and didn't get it and is still one of the best characters on the show.

Also...hate Ricky Gervais,don't think he is funny and still amazed Zach Braff or John C. McGinley from Scrubs hasn't won one yet.

Im not shocked by it[awards are alot of bull****e] but come on-how has Battlestar not been nominated in anything substantail in its run-espically its best series, the last one,the 3rd season!Ditto Dexter, Michael C Hall should have won best actor!

I'm delighted to see Lost getting some recognition at the Emmys this year, but as with others feel that Emerson was much more worthy of the award. However given the Emmy nominations of the last few years, what more could you expect?

At least with the current process, they can be fairly sure of some rewards after Season 6.
