Would love to see a full length Sig 550 or Carbine 551. Didn't TM use to produce them? Can't find them for sale anywhere

production was ceased due to problems with the electric 3 shot burst system

problems with the electric burst ? (not just 3, you could pick any between 2 and 7 shots) :O
it worked very well and still does after all these years (i know at least 4 guys who still own one and they all work nicely :))

to me the funkiest sniper aeg ever. :)

    Seen it/them = yayyyy! :)

Looks very plasticky = nooooooes! :(

Incidentally, and way off thread - as some of ye know, I was abroad back home for a long weekend and took the opportunity to drop by the local airsoft retailer Friday afternoon (yes, an airsoft bricks and mortar that's been going years and still trading strong... read on!)

Man, BFSL had better deliver, because walking out of there empty-handed was one of the hardest things I've done in a looong time: wall-fulls of Maruis, Classic Army, KJW, WA, etc, etc. - top grade, top notch selection (finally seen and held a TM Benelli M3 full length in the flesh)... with prices to match - examples: CA MP5SD €499, KJW P266 GBB full metal €199, TM Benelli M3 Shorty €249...

    In a word: F:eek:CK!

PS: Not a clone in sight, the place made me feel shamed to admit I had two... so I didn't! :D

At those prices I'm surprised all French airsofters don't use clones exclusively :p

The funny thing is that airsoft isn't that big around there, yet this store has been trading absolutely years (the one in my home town, that is) - I mean 10+, easy. Admittedly, it's part of a chain of stores.

Maybe davvowl's heard of it over the years, it's called "Cybergun" (corporate site here, my local's the last one on the list page 2 ;) ).

('bet you're chuffed reading that, T, now that you've started - I guess Eirsoft will look something like that in 10 years or so, eh? :p:D).

anyone seen a SIG556 Airsoft/ better looking than the 550/551/2

Curious as to what a Sig-Sauer 556 looks like I pop onto the companys site.

And see they have a airsoft section.

    Seemed a little odd.

Um ... no. SIG Arms have been producing (through another company) Airsoft kit for a little while now and are quite the positive voice regarding our sport - though it is mainly from a training perspective.

And at $399 exc. P&P, there's no wonder they're quite unheard of :D

...wonder if it's a RS receiver, for that price...
... or a DE LPEG ...
