Recommend good lodgings in Auckland???

    going to bite the bullet and fly from Dublin-london-LA-Auckland in one shot so i need a nice place for myself and the missus to rest up for a few days before moving onward.
    Anyone recommend a nice hotel/apartment/B&B it doesnt have to be expensive just good quality.

    Well I can recommend a great Hostel - Bamber House. Lovely atmosphere, clean rooms, good location and a great common area with big log fire.

    We stayed there for 2 weeks in total I think .... highly recommended.

    Jee, when you ask so nicely .... :rolleyes:

    I didn't take any internal flights, and I bought a car so can't help you there, sorry! Car/Van hire is not cheap though.
