    Hi

    Am thinking of buy a NintendoWii in the states, will the system there work in Ireland is there power adaptors needed or will the games work. Any help greatly appreciated

    You'll need a new power supply or a transformer. Otherwise it will work. Remember that you will have to get all your Wii points and games from the US since European games won't work on it.

    Just to let you know you can indeed use your credit card to buy Wii points on the US VC. I have done it many times. Just set your location to Brazil in the options or on starting up the Wii for the first time.
    Then in the VC shop in buying points you just put in your CC number and then it asks for a post code. I just left the post code blank as i don't have one and thats it. Works no problem at all :D
