It is indeed, though Codemasters just use his name. But I believe he was involved in the very first game.

Steve Irwin dies at the fins of a stingray, Colin Mcrae dies in a Helicopter crash. What next? Oprah Winfrey dying of starvation?

In other news, I had a dream that Simon Pegg died last night. I wonder if they are connected?

Didn't some Irish rally driver ALSO die in a helicopter crash?

And just recently the CEO of some rally car company had a helicopter crash but survived.

Man if I was involved in rally I'd stay the f*ck away from helicopters altogether.

    Yes Bertie Fischer, R.I.P.

    Yes, an absolute tragedy. RIP.

It seems that, over the last few years, whenever a helicopter crashes, it's always a Squirrel helicopter. It was the same make that Bertie Fisher died in.

They (whoever they are) say that it has a safety record second to none. It makes you wonder.

Reminds me of the time when I used to be an Aero-Anorak. Of course, I was cured of that in Ireland because there's nothing of any interest in the sky to look at.:D It's been a long time since I saw a flight of A10 Tankbusters flying over my house.
