it seems to be more for wide area scientific information then close up images, unlike googleearth, the image of ireland isn't any more detailed then having ireland as an image about an inch wide... but I think you can get highly detailed topographical information which when you apply it the green smudge you get something approximating a high res image, (google earth terrain mapping of ireland is terrible)

so anybody find that (DEM) data in form a you can apply to worldwind.

when i searched I didn't find much about ireland and nasa worldwind at all

you have to up your gamma to see ireland...
