Hi. I know you cant polish a turd, but Im hoping there is a way to get a more stylish metalic/colourised effect from "normal" photographs in photoshop. Heres 2 examples of the kind of thing I have in mind. Im thinking perhaps the answer is in curves, maybe combined with an adjustment layer. Any thoughts would be greatly…

Hi.

Heres another example of one of "those kind of shots".

Maybe its the type of film its done on, but Im sure these sort of effects can be achieved with "normal" photographs in photoshop.

Ive been experimenting with DonkeyStyles colour matching advice from above, and its the closest thing Ive found so far.

Each time you load the page there is a random image (of 9). I got them relatively consistent with each other using donkeys colour match tip. All images are colour matched from this photo:
