    iam looking for a program that tells you the speed of your FSB. i have a hp dv8308tx laptop and want to upgarde the ram to 2gig. but i dont know what speed ram to get. i want to get some think thats the same speed or faster than the FSB.
    i looked up the specs on the net and it tell me that the FSB is 667, however when i used SiSoftware Sandra it tells me pic below

    for ram buying go to www.crucial.com its near 100% accurate with the scanner and the fact they "know" whats gone into base models.

    They reasonably cheap but they do tell you what ram to search ebay for :D

    Enter your info into the Crucial.com configurator and it should bring up what you need. Shop4memory.com have the same thing.

    Crucial is one of the most accurate ways of finding out all the Info on your installed RAM.

    Here's a great little program for telling you loads of details about your system. It won't define the actual type of RAM though it does tell you all about your system.
