    I guess that we often post threads when there is a problem with a service. And as a customer of Smart with no competition available, I have suffered from a p!ss poor service for over 12 months.

    But recently they implemented some hardware changes (don't ask - I ain't a techie!) and now the service has been working flawlessly for several weeks. It seems like they are going to add Sky One etc to the package (hopefully in time for the autumn shows Sky One premières;) ), and launch a PVR service. There are even mutterings of hi-def which would be great.

    So just to those who may be having issues with service from Smart at the moment, potentially there is a solution round the corner and maybe you could ask them when they will be doing the same upgrades elsewhere.
