need advice on buying 1st bike!!

my da has agreed 2 get me a scrambler but neither of us no too much about them in fact nothing!!! can u please give me like a list or sumthing of things to check etc!! thanks 4got to tell u it will be an 85 or 125!!

Go to a few races if you can, you will pick up lots of info there. Do your mates have bikes, if so ask them about their bikes. Go to lots of shops and look at lots of bikes. The question you have posted is very general which probably proves that you are just starting out, so I suggest you take your time to learn about different bikes before you buy.
