    When do they actually close?

Jessops gets a good slaggin and deserves most of it, some of the prices are silly especially on accessories

I have a friend who works there who totally agrees. He says that from next week on tho, there should be some really good deals there starting from tuesdayish. The shop will more than likely be closed before the start of october but possibly a week or two into it

Afaik the plan is to shift as much as possible from the shop for cheapish and ship the remainder to another store. If he lets me know of any good deals ill post up here again but its probably worth taking a look.

PS you can probably buy jessops cleaning cloths from any other camera shop in dublin for half of jessops cost, and theyll probably still be jessops branded ones ha

    £6 for 3 screen protectors.. thats nearly a tenneR!!

that said i got my d40 in our one in wrexham and another lens 1/2 price with it so Im not complaining.. still cheaper than ireland for a lot of stuff..

addionally i hope you mean the shop in NI not all jessops.. tho if all jessops were closing = SALE = ching ching !

sb-400 flash = £150 off jessops or £100 from argos
Now in wrexham where i go to uni you can stand outside the jessops and see argos... its literally one minutes walk away.. so tell me how farked up that is..

Jessops is closing its doors for the last time on Sat 29th september.

Supposdly everything is reduced but thats not totally true.

All sigma lenses now 20% off, most canon and nikon lenses/flashes 10% off.

Not sure yet if its everything must go or if they just ship everything thats left over back to engerland.

Paper and ink cartridges half price too afaik.

ohh ass.. I guess I'll never get to use my £10 in vouchers now. I can't help but feel somewhat responsible though...

Sh!t - I bought the 350 there and the battery or connection is dodgy. Suppose I'd better get in there!

I assume that this is only the one in ireland however I was talking to a mate who knows a bloke (can you see where this is going ?) who is a manager or some rot. Anyways £13,000,000 in debt apparantly ?

In fairness unless they have a deal on they are prohibitavely expensive.
