A girl at work is moving to Dublin for college and is wondering if she can get a broadband service that will allow her and her three housemates to share the connection at the same time? Will their laptops pick up on the wireless connection or will some other equipment be needed?
    Any suggestions welcome, thanks.

Its called a wireless router ...

NTL or whatever they are calling themselves these days ... have a free wireless router with one package ...

http://www.ntl.ie/internet/ alternatively you can get your own ... they may need someone to fix it up for them though depending ... put on some security ... lock it down to mac addresses of the laptops and so on ...
