    it is possible

make sure you can see all of the pc's first

    ping pc1, pc2 etc

if you can then they can see and pass data to each other.

then create a workgroup and add them all to the workgroup

    simple enough to do

After this, open up Printers and Faxes in Windows XP. Right click on the printer you want share and click on "Sharing". Follow the on-screen instructions.

After this, on the other PCs which will now be in the same workgroup, open My Netork Places. In the side panel, click "View workgroup computers", double-click the PC which will be sharing the printer, open the Printers and Faxes folder within and double click on the shared printer. You'll be prompted to install the necessary drivers to allow the other PCs to print to it.
