Keyboard/Bass player seeks paying gigs

    Hi.

    I'm looking to join any band that get's paid in need of keys or bass. Below is my info with regard to the two instruments.

    Bass: I've got an Ibanez SR500 and a Vintage fretless. I've got an Ashdown combo on the way, so I'll be equipped decently. I've been playing nearly 7 years, can pick up/write basslines on the spot etc.

    Keyboard: I'm currently playing on a Casio Privia PX300 and a Roland Juno-D synth. I've been playing over 10 years and can play a little of all styles. I've been playing mostly bluesy stuff and some jazz lately, and if you're a standard rock covers band, chances are I know a fair few of the songs on your set. I'm good at jamming/picking stuff up on the spot and that sort of thing.

    I posted one of these ages back, got a fair bit of interest but also got my time wasted. So if you're serious, PM me with a setlist, and we'll arrange a few songs to do and a time and date to meet and give it a try.

    Please don't PM me if you're an aspiring originals band, planning on starting a covers band down the road or unable to get gigs. As regards genre, again, I'll play anything that pays.

    i'm not sure if you saw my ad looking for a keyboard player on this fourm,we have a van ,all our own gear and are out most weekends gigging(we were out sat and sun).....looking to broaden our sound with keys if you can sing a bit it would be an advantage but not essential..... if your interested get back to me and we can arrange a rehearsal(we have our own place to rehearse)......

    Can you sing?
    Would you be ok with doing bass on some songs and keyboards on others ( filling in bass with your leftie?) Putting a wedding /function band together at the moment. Pub gigs booked to start with. Drummer and I(guitar) both sing.
    3 piece, less heads to pay!

    Samples of what, Savman? Bass or keyboard? Covers or originals?

    franzoni, I might be interested in that. Pm me with more details please. And if it's an originals band with no pay involved, please refer to the first post. This thread is for finding me a 1/2 night week job.

    srvhead, that sounds ok. I'd be interested in doing backing vocals, and if it's a case of switching between bass and keyboard, I'd sooner stick entirely with the keys and play the bass off my synth or adapt the songs somewhat. Pm me.
