avoid construction traffic lights

wife bought me an airis t920a for my birthday it has route66 navigate 7.0.1895 i am trying to avoid a road nearby by the kilcock to summerhill road because of 4-5 sets of construction lights, is it possibal to tell the satnav that the road is blocked to avoid it, cant find anything like that in the menus or help

Take a wrong turn and it should recalculate the route for you, although the first couple of recalculations will probably just be telling you to turn around it should eventually give up.
