Question about video to mp3

been trying to change a music video to mp3, and the encoding works grand however the finished product is well you can hear the song but kinda sounds like darth vader was underlaying the song with a harpsichord, any body know how to resolve this? I am using this http://www.imtoo.com/mpeg-encoder.html all help appreciated

That should do it If the source is bad you cant improve quality, media-convert has worked fine for me most times!

cheers but I kinda want to use the one I have, its all installed n all and other than this weird noise it has good sound qualityand is quite quick, well the source wouldnt be bad so I dont think it would be that, Ive got a firefox add-on to download and then using this to convert it,
