right so a debate has flared up between myself and my housemates, in the Moro add does yer man say DUURRTY or DORETHY after the other guys says "that's my ma!"

Please reign down the glorious truth!

Why on earth would anyone think it was "Dorothy" anyway.

This topic has come up before and it's "Dirty". "Dirty" makes far more sense in the context of the ad than "Dorothy" - seriously, why would people think that?

That Carlsberg ad with the broken down truck driver - there's been many a debate as to whether your one says 'bye bye' or 'farewell' at the end of it. But in the Moro ad, it's most definitely dirty.

Exactly. It wouldn't make sense.

I actually used t work with the guy that says the infamous "Dorothy" ............sorry, "DURRRTY!!!"

Does he not say "do it" in a weird accent. That's what it's always sounded like to me and it makes more sense I think.

i always thought he said Dorothy, my mothers name is Dorothy n friends use laugh when it came on and say 'oh dorothy'.

Like I said, from a transcript of the ad issued by the makers, he says 'Dirty'.

She says farewell but with a bit of an accent so it's fare-vell... (I think)

carlsberg ad woman says fare-d-well in a danish accent. I always thought it was dorothy, never even occurred that it was dirty. It seems like your man says "thats my ma" and the other guy says "dorothy" as if he is seeing her as a woman and not as his mother.....
