Are you guys using a specific IR Blaster to control your set-top boxes or an attachment for your Hauppage card?

I have the WinTV-HVR1100 I am using the included application via s-video to record manually at present as I can only use Coax without IR receiver through MC.

The recordings made using the WinTV2000 appication are OK some lines and jumpyness at times, I was hoping to test using MC but can only use Coax and that quality was crut.

So new card? Seperate IR controller?

What card/setup do you recommend for best quality?

i se a usb-uirt, do a google search for them. much more reliable than the ir blaster that comes with the haupppauge cards
