    I just had to tell you guys, you were such a large part of my decision to finally take the plunge! I must say, I'm loving this machine :) Very sexy altogether. Thanks for all the advice over the weeks, now I can finally be a proper member of the Boards Mac community! :D

    Keep checking out this forum for hints and tips.
    I'm always learning, owned a macbook for 6 months before I knew you could scroll if you used two fingers on the trackpad. Handy to know

    Good for you! I am a new mac person too, only had my mbp a few weeks, still learning new stuff all the time.

    This is a great forum though, always people ready to answer all and every question. Ok, enough sucking up.

    But seriously, you won't regret it. Its true once you go mac you never go back.:D

    Did you buy it online? If so how long did it take from when you ordered for them to ship it? Were the estimated dates on the order status right?

    Looking forward to mine.. but its not due to be shipped until the 24th

    You do realise that if we all congregated in Stephens Green some sunny thursday afternoon with our MacBook Pros, we'd be surrounded by scantily-clad *insert-gender-of-choice-here* ... Leaving the bookish Windows nerds to discuss their right-clicking options, alone, sad, living with their parents...

    Yes, the Mac makes your life better..

    Lol i've had my my macbook for 8months and I just discovered this now, it's my first time here but I'll be readibg it from now on , thanks guys:)
