Ok, apparently Easons is hosting a mini convention, 6th of October between 6 and 8. All I could find out was that there's some art contests, cosplay and a wii being set up. You have to put your name down before the 29th though so they can quote gauge interest, orsomething

I'm tempted to go. I might draw like a 5 year old and I couldn't make a cosplay costume tosave my life, but hell, might be fun. Least I could have ago on a wii finally

where would one signup for this event? i would be interested in attending, probably not the cosplay so much. more than likely it will be 8yr olds in harry sh1ter outfits. where did you get info about this? was it instore?
didn't know that easons opened late on saturdays or is this special maybe?

It's not usualy, ut they're just staying open late. And you just sign up at the customer services desk

there is a mention of this in neo. although the date is different they give it as oct2. although good news for people elsewhere, easons cork/galway/dublin are also listed.

it seems to be a tokyopop thing rather than a general manga thing.
