    Hi.

Have to travel said route next week by car.

Was wondering which would be the best way? Have checked AA route planner but they sent me on wild goose chase with other journey before and so am not inclined to trust them.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    k.

just did a check on the aa http://www.aaroadwatch.ie/routes/default.asp
    and viamichelin http://www.viamichelin.com/viamichelin/int/tpl/hme/MaHomePage.htm
sites and with the previous advice makes 3 different ways to get there!!
    aa advise going through tullamore/portlaoise/carlow/bunclody/rosslare
    viamichelin advise limerick/waterford/rosslare

both around the same time, haven't gone that route myself so can't help

That would be my preference having done this route frequently.

I'd advise the above route if ya don't mind driving on secondary roads..... N6 to kilbeggan, N80 to carlow/wexford.

yeah, saw the time that the AA put on the route they provided. around 4 hours.

problem is, when going to belfast before, they said the route they suggested would take 4.5 hours, but it took me 6 hours and that was travelling faster than i should have been.

    thanks for the suggestions guys.

Doesn't allow for stops or congestion.
