nokia n73 backlight

    already posted this over on gps forum but got no replys so i'm trying here instead. just got a gps receiver and software for my nokia n73 but the backlight on the phone packs in after 60 secs or so.got onto nokia- no help(nothing new there then). whats the point of having this application when you keep having to press a button to keep it visable-not to mention the safety aspect.looking for an application to keep it on. anybody with any help would be greatly appreciated as i feel i've just wasted my money.

    there's an option "turn light on". then minimise it and launch the gps app

    The only time that the backlight will stay on is when the phone is in Navigation mode. Even at that you have to go into the settings and change it, its nots on by default.
